Software that is designed for a single version of Windows are not affected by the change in policy. Set Point and XP Winsafe are two of these software titles.
Software that runs on Windows 9x and ME only are not affected by the change in policy. RegRepair, RegMedic and WinSafe 2001 are three of these software titles.
Perfect Companion is no longer available for sale. However, we still maintain the software on our site.
Updating your software
If you are a registered user of our software and wish to update, simply email IDRequest @ easydesksoftware.com with your name (and address if your email address has changed) and Product ID. We will email you the needed download links and other information you will need to update. If you are upgrading to Windows XP or Vista please see "Upgrading to Windows XP"
If you are upgrading to Windows XP or Vista (which is built on the NT platform) from either Windows NT or 2000 your registered software will be upgraded at no charge.
If you are upgrading to Windows XP or 2000 from either Windows 9x, ME (which is built on the Windows 95 platform) the following registered software will be upgraded at no charge: Registry Drill, FATMon, Registry Watch, Save-It, Set Point and Fast View. Other programs that run on NT that are not in this list are not free upgrades.
The NT, 2000, and XP versions of System Sentry, and WinSafe are not free upgrades from System Sentry, or WinSafe for Windows 9x and ME version. The Windows NT platform versions of these software products contain different source code and are written separately from their Windows 95 platform counter parts. To order these programs click here.
If you wish to upgrade any of your qualifying software, you must install the latest NT, 2000, XP version to your operating system. After installing the latest versions, email us the new Product ID and tell us you have upgraded to Windows XP or 2000. Email IDRequest @ easydesksoftware.com include your name (and address if your email address has changed) and the software title you wish to upgrade.
If you currently have the Registry Drill for Windows 9x, ME you must uninstall the 9x version and then install the NT, 2000, XP version, as the database is different.
